The Grayson Vikings season came to a close with a 6-0 defeat to Temple to finish as the Southwest District B Region V Runner-Up.

Offensively for the Vikings, Matti Matthews had a pair of hits, whileAddisyn Cox and Paisley Needham each tallied a hit. Needham, Layal Sons and Mia Krueger each worked a walk for the Vikings. 

For the Vikings, they finish the year at 47-12 and 24-8 in conference play. They will wait and see if they are one of the four teams chosen for an At-Large bid for the NJCAA Division 1 World Series that will take place beginning May 25 in Oxford, Alabama. The NJCAA Selection Show will take place on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30pm CST.
