Viking Baseball heads to Waco this weekend at Regional Tournament

The Grayson Vikings are hot right now, winners of eight of their final nine games. Now they head to Waco for the Region V Tournament beginning Friday, May 10. The Vikings ended the season with a 29-24 overall record, and a 19-13 mark in conference play, which was good for third place. 

The Vikings first opponent will be the New Mexico College Thunderbirds, who finished in second place in the West with a 38-16 overall record, and a 26-10 mark in conference play. 

First pitch between the Vikings and Thunderbirds will be at 10 am on Friday, May 10 from Bosque River Ballpark in Waco.

A few things to note about the tournament: Tickets are on sale at the gate, cash only. Prices are:

-$25 for an adult tournament pass (entry to all games all weekend long)
-$20 for a student & senior citizen tournament pass (entry to all games all weekend long)
-$10 for an adult game pass (all games that day)
-$5 for a student and senior citizen day pass (all games that day)
